Metro North and New Jersey Transit

The Port Jervis Line of Metro North towards New York City starts at Port Jervis, Orange County. Its last stop in New York is Suffern before connecting to Mahwah New Jersey and NJ Transit.

The Pascack Valley Line starts at Spring Valley in Rockland County, and only has three stops in New York State before reaching New Jersey. Some Rockland County residents will choose to drive to the stations in New Jersey based on the train schedule and parking availability.

Both Lines will reach Secaucus Junction and Hoboken. You can then decide to reach New York City either by rail to Penn station or PATH, or ferry.
