Festivals in the Hudson Valley this Weekend:

Country Living Fair at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck June 5-7, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily. There will be great shopping, seminars and demonstrations, delicious food, and if you are a fan of the magazine, you will get to meet the editors!

The 14th annual Cornwall River Fest will be held on June 6, 2015 in Donahue Park, on the shore of the majestic Hudson River. It will feature a full day of music and entertainment, children’s activities, magicians, Story Laurie, and a large craft and food fair. 

The Hunter Mountain Jam will take place all weekend, from June 4-7, 2015. Visit their website for more info and the extensive lineups.

The 2015 Kfest hosted by the radio station 104.7 will be on June 7th, Sunday at the Dutchess Stadium.

The Westchester Magazine wine and food festival has already started! From June 3-6, 2015, you can visit the events taking place throughout Westchester, meet top food and wine personalities, and of course enjoy your food and drinks!

Community Events in the Hudson Valley this weekend:

Our local communities are hosting so many events this weekend! Take your pick on which carnivals and street fairs to visit!

Events in Rockland County:

Nanuet Street Fair on Sunday, June 7th from 10am-5pm.

Nanuet Street Fair 2015

Orangeburg Fire Dept. Carnival all weekend! From June 3rd-7th, with fireworks on Saturday night.

The Greek Festival at the Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1 Marycrest Road, West Nyack. It will be a fun culture event with rides, games, food, pastries and live music. Free admission and parking. June 4th-7th, 2015.

Summer Kickoff at the Rockland JCC on Sunday, June 7th from 2pm-4pm.

Events in Westchester County:

The Tarrytown Street Fair is Sunday, June 7th from 10am-5pm. Over 90 vendors will be at the event.

The Rosenthal JCC Summer Carnival in Pleasantville is Sunday, June 7th from 10am-4pm. 

The 29th Annual Croton Summerfest Celebration is on June, June 7th. Summerfest starts with the annual Community and Fireman’s Parade. The Street Fair is held on Grand and Old Post Roads.

The Armonk Lions Club holds their annual fundraising event, the Fol-De-Rol Carnival at the Wampus Community Park from June 4th-7th, 2015. It will be a fun-filled weekend of rides, pet and car parade, games, craft and food vendors, continuous entertainment, animals, and much more. 

Looking to shop? The Bronxville Sidewalk Sale and Street Fair is on June 5th and 6th.

The Saint Anthony of Padua Festa Italiana is this weekend June 5th-7th, 2015 at West Harrison. There will of course be plenty of food, and children's entertainment.

Orange and Ulster County Events

The Kingston community block party will be held on Sunday 1-5pm at Gallo Park. This day of celebration is presented by the Reher Center for Immigrant Culture and History, and will represent cultures of African-Americans, American Indians, Eastern Europeans, Jewish-Americans, Hispanics and Latinos, and Americans of Greek, Indian, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Ukrainian origin or ancestry.  

The Annual Children’s Earth and Water festival will be held at Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Montgomery. You will find free entertainment and parking, live music, activities, games and crafts. 

The Annual Touch a Truck event at the Ulster Fair Grounds on June 7th, hosted by the New Paltz Rotary Club.

Dutchess County Events

It will be the Community Day for the Town of Union Vale on June 6th. See our previous post about this all day fun event.

Other Hudson Valley Activities this Weekend:

On Sunday, June 7th, there will be the Gay Pride March and Festival from 12-4pm in New Paltz. Across the river, the LOFT in White Plains will hold their gay pride event on June 6th from noon-5pm.

If you are interested in touring some of the best and most beautiful private gardens in Putnam County, this weekend is the Putnam County Secret Garden Tour. This country driving tour will bring you to private homes and sites with formal gardens, perennial flowering landscapes, pastoral fields and vistas, and herb and flowering vegetable gardens throughout Putnam County.

If you are looking to enjoy local live music at the River Towns in Westchester County, there will be 80 performances on Saturday, June 6th at the Riverarts Music Tour. All of the performances are free and open to public.

It will be the 18th annual Peekskill Open Studios weekend: June 6th and 7th noon-5pm each day.
