Looking ahead in 2015, it looks like the Rye real estate prices will be climbing even higher. So far in 2015, according to the HGMLS, 24 home have sold in the Rye City school district, with a median sales price of $2,037,500. Most of these homes went under contract before the snowy winter.
Looking at the homes that are under contract but have not settled yet, it seems like many determined buyers were out in the cold winter months to buy their dream homes. There are currently 27 homes under contract, with several going contract under a month. Among those homes, several were over $5 million, with one that looks to be above $10 million. If they all go to closing, it will sure push the Rye real estate average prices even higher this year.
