There are lots of fun things to do this weekend in the Hudson Valley:
The first Hudson Valley International Film Festival, a premiere event will take place this weekend, August 14-16, at The Monroe Arts and Civic Center. The Nyack Village Theater will present the Nyack Film Festival from August 13-16. And throughout the summer, the White Plains library hosts an International Film Festival as well every Monday through August, at 2pm and 7pm.
The Hudson Valley Rib Fest is being held this weekend, August 14-16, at the Ulster County Fairgrounds. Enjoy great bbq and drinks, music, and more.
To continue with the Cultural Heritage Celebrations in Westchester, the Jewish Music and Arts Festival will be held on August 16, noon-6pm at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. At the Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park, it will host the NimHam Pow Wow on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm.
The lovely Harney and Sons Tea company is holding Harney Fest on August 16, 8am-5pm at Millerton New York. Enjoy food and live music, tea tasting classes, family fun activities, and more!
Over in Monticello, it is the annual Bagel Festival and Street Fair on the 16th. Monticello is known as the birthplace of bagel, and the bagel capital of the world. There will be lots of vendors, live music, food of course, and the world's largest bagel chain.

The 35th Hurley Corn Festival is this Saturday, August 15th. It will be held at the Hurley Reformed Church, and will of course include food and corn, bluegrass and folk music, children's activities, antiques and more.
The Fishkill Farm in Dutchess County will have its Peachtopia Festival on Saturday. There are plenty of activities at all our farms and wineries in the Hudson Valley, including the Chocolate, Strawberry and Wine Festival at the Baldwin Vineyards, free concerts at the Applewood Winery and more.
