The Nyack Village Theater will present the Nyack Film Festival from August 13-16. And throughout the summer, the White Plains library hosts an International Film Festival as well every Monday through August, at 2pm and 7pm.

The Hudson Valley Rib Fest is being held this weekend, August 14-16, at the Ulster County Fairgrounds. Enjoy great bbq and drinks, music, and more.

To continue with the Cultural Heritage Celebrations in Westchester, the Jewish Music and Arts Festival will be held on August 16, noon-6pm at the Kensico Dam Plaza in Valhalla. At the Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park, it will host the NimHam Pow Wow on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm.

Over in Monticello, it is the annual Bagel Festival and Street Fair on the 16th. Monticello is known as the birthplace of bagel, and the bagel capital of the world. There will be lots of vendors, live music, food of course, and the world's largest bagel chain.

Also, don't forget that the New York Renaissance Faire is ongoing in Tuxedo, New York. And if you plan to visit one of the many farmers' markets in the Hudson Valley, check out our list of farmers' markets on our resource page.
