There are many fun events for Westchester and Hudson Valley this weekend, June 12-14, 2015. It includes lots of fairs and festivals, marathon and strawberries!

Events in Westchester and Rockland County
Yonkers is holding their Yonkers Greek Festival this weekend, June 12 - 14. You will find authentic Greek food, music and dances, rides, games, raffles, kids zone and more.
The 35th Ossining Village Fair is this Saturday, June 13 from 10am-5pm at Main and Spring Streets. It will feature over 185 vendors, foods and games, and live music.
It will be the Yorktown Community Day this Saturday. It will be held at the Jefferson Valley Mall on Saturday from 11am-5pm.
On Sunday, New City in Rockland County will host its street fair from 10am-5pm.
The Neuberger Museum at SUNY Purchase is hosting their Family Second Saturdays feature art experiences for the whole family, with conversations and hands-on workshops from 1-4 pm.
Juneteeth is the oldest known celebration observing the end of slavery in the United States. On Saturday, June 13, it will be the White Plains Juneteenth celebration, with a parade down Mamaroneck Ave at 11am, followed by festival from noon-5 p.m. at Court Street. Rain or shine.
Also this weekend, you will find the Hastings Flea market on Sunday. And it is Bicycle Sundays, when a portion of the Bronx River Parkway is closed to cars for the exclusive use of bicyclists, joggers, walkers, scooters, strollers, etc.
Events in the mid Hudson Valley: Orange, Putnam and Dutchess County
The Walkway Marathon is this Saturday, June 13th! Please note that the Walkway will be closed for bicycles and pets during the event, and please visit the website for the observation areas for spectators.
Did you know about 1200 snapping turtles, New York's official state reptile, live in the Constitution Marsh Audubon Center and Santuary, just below the Boscobel House and Gardens in Garrison? The Boscobel will play host to its 21st Annual Snapping Turtle Walk beginning at 7:30 a.m. on June 13.
The Applewood Winery in Warwick is holding their Summer of Cider Festival on Saturday, June 13. Try different ciders, food trucks, and enjoy live music. Yum!
The Middletown Festival Latino is being held this Sunday, June 14th at Thrall Park. It will feature live entertainment, food and craft vendors, and children activites.
There are several events happening in Beacon this weekend. On Saturday, Beacon host their Second Saturday event. Earlier in the day is Beacon's City-Wide Yard Sale from 9am-3pm.
The Beacon Strawberry Festival will be held on Sunday at the Riverfront Park from noon-5pm. Also on Sundays, you will always find the Beacon Farmers Market and Beacon flea!
For additional strawberry festivals, you will find the Strawberry Jamming Festival at Fishkill Farms nearby on Sunday from 11am-4pm. On Saturday, June 13, the United Presbyterian Church at 4974 Route 22, Amenia will host their Strawberry Fair.
