Chester is located in Orange County New York, in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley. It is surrounded by Goshen, Warwick, Monroe, and Blooming Grove.

New York City is around 50 miles away, and the drive takes a little over an hour, depending on traffic. For commuters, there are great public transportation options available for commuting to New York City. There are commuter buses to Port Authority and midtown Manhattan.
