In addition to river views, the Storm King State Park offers many hiking trails that offer viewpoint after viewpoint of the Hudson River and the Catskills. Driving on Storm King Highway (Route 128) towards West Point is especially enjoyable during the fall, where commercials and movies have been shot.

It is a 500-acre outdoor art museum and sculpture park that features works of 20th century artists.
