Sycamore Park
SYCAMORE PARK - 790 Long Pond Rd, Mahopac
Sycamore Park, situated between Long Pond and Long Pond Road in Mahopac, is the center where the Carmel Recreation and Parks Department operates. The park consists of 32 acres, 18 of which are developed fully for water and land activities. The park contains four tennis courts, a baseball/football field, spacious beach, picnic and playground areas, paddle ball/hand ball court and a concession/refreshment stand. The picnic area has grills and tables convenient for gatherings of substantial size (100). The playground area has many features for children; swings, slides, tunnels and monkey bars are safely placed within the 5,700-sq. ft. sandbox.
JIMMY McDONOUGH MEMORIAL PARK - 20 Dixon Rd, Carmel
The Jimmy McDonough Memorial Park complex is located at the end of Angela Drive off of Long Pond Road. It features three football/soccer fields, one ninety-foot diamond, one sixty-foot diamond and an extreme skate park. This facility also has rest rooms and a food concession. It is open from late March to November.
CHAMBER PARK - Routes 6/6N, Mahopac
The Mahopac Chamber Community Park is located in downtown Mahopac at the corner of Routes 6 and 6N. It is a beautiful, waterfront park located on Lake Mahopac. Its features include a gazebo, fountain, playground, walking paths and benches. It is a carry-in, carry-out park open from dawn 'til dusk all year long.

RED MILLS PARK - 6 Hill St, Mahopac
Red Mills is a passive park located on the corner of Route 6N and Hill Street and is approximately 7 acres. The park has watercourses running through it with walking bridges over them.
