Kitchawan Preserve
Over six miles of trails offering views of the reservoir and surrounding hills, and links to the North County Trailway. The Teatown-Kitchawan Trail (TKT) is a 6.5 mile hiking trail that links several parks and trails: the North County Trailway, Kitchawan Preserve, and John E Hand Park at Bald Mountain in Yorktown, and Croton Gorge in the Town of Cortland.

Sylvan Glen Park Preserve and Sylvan Glen Paw Park
Sylvan Glen Park Preserve is a heavily wooded park with wetlands that include Westchester's largest aquifer. There are several marked trails of varying lengths that bring you to the old quarries, and to remains of old buildings from the Mohegan Quarries.
The dog park at Sylvan Glen Park Preserve is approximately 1.3 acres of fenced in land: approximately .4 acres for small dogs, and .9 acres for large dogs.
