The Village of Piermont is located in the town of Clarkstown in Rockland County. The village of Nyack has an attractive downtown, with a quaint downtown, with lots of eateries, art galleries, shops and more. It is also next to another active village Nyack, which hosts many community events. Nyack is the home of Edward Hopper, and still retains an artsy and funky charm. You can still visit Edward Hopper's birth home in Nyack, at the Edward Hopper museum.
In addition to the downtown, there are beautiful views and parks in Nyack. You will find the Nyack Beach State Park with 61 acres of waterfront, which offers a scenic route for hiking and biking. The Memorial Park, right on the Hudson River, has sports fields, playground, and hosts the Nyack summer concert series. There is also the beautiful Piermont Marshes.
