For those who enjoy the water, the Glen Island Park, 105-acre island park along the Long Island Sound with a beach is five minutes away. The town has no community pool, but there are two private clubs: the New York Athletic Club and the Pelham Country Club, both with swimming pools. The New York Athletic Club's summer facility, Travers Island, offers pools, rowing and yachting along the Long Island Sound shore.

Biltmore Commute

Biltmore is conveniently located just 30 minutes North of New York City. The Pelham Metro North train station is located in the Village of Pelham, and is a little one mile away. For driving, I-95, Route 1 and the Hutchinson River Parkway are all very easily accessible from Pelham.
