Residents of Twin Knolls at Somers get to enjoy an idyllic lifestyle with it's serene landscape of wooded hills and the Croton Reservoir. Some homes provide a view of the beautiful Croton Reservoir. The community's rural setting provides residents with a private oasis, but still within reasonable distance to plenty of shopping and activities.

The Danbury and Jefferson Valley Malls are only about 15-20 minutes away, and the Mohansic Golf Course is nearby for those who enjoy getting in a round of golf.

Somers offers many outdoor recreational opportunities. The beautiful lakes and the Amawalk Reservoir for great views and fishing. The 82-acre Reis park is great for picnicking and has fields for soccer, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and a skate park. The most beautiful however, would be the 234-acre Lasdon park, which is also an arboretum. It is stunning with its woods, meadows, and formal gardens, and hosts summer concerts for the town.

New York City is about 40 miles away, ensuring a reasonable commute by car or the Metro North Station in nearby Katonah. White Plains is 30 minutes south and accessible via the Taconic State Parkway.

There was a variety of home styles at Twin Knolls, including colonials, updated Victorians, farmhouse, tudor and chateau inspired styles. 

As of 2015, the homes for sale at Primrose Farms are selling at $1 million and up. in 2015 two homes were sold at Twin Knolls, one for $1.09 million, and another home for $1.35 million.

Students living at the Twin Knolls community go to schools at the Somers School District. That includes Primrose Elementary School, Somers Middle School, and Somers High School. All of the schools are just minutes from the Primrose Farms development.
