West Harrison is located in the Northwestern part of the Town of Harrison. The White Plains Metro North station is located less than 10 minutes away, with 35 minute express trains to Grand Central several times an hour.
There are many country clubs and parks in Harrison. The Saxon Woods Park is a 700-acre property with the largest swimming pool in Westchester, playground, and an 18-hole golf course and miniature golf course. There are plenty of spots a few minutes away where you can enjoy the shore, including the wonderful Harbor Island Park, which offers playgrounds, picnic areas, sports fields, and a beach. It is a popular spot for residents to fish at the dock. You will also find the marina and boat clubs all along the harbor.
