Lake Macgregor Commute

There is no Metro North station in Mahopac. However, the Croton Falls Metro North train station is only 15 minutes away. 

Traveling in Mahopac is mostly through Route 6, and many local shops, restaurants and schools are located along this local road. To go to other parts of New York and Connecticut, you will take I-84 and the Taconic State Parkway. New York City is around 50-60 miles from Lake Macgregor, and White Plains is around 30 minutes South.

Students living at the Lake Macgregor go to schools at the Mahopac School District. Students will attend Austin Road Elementary School, Mahopac Middle School, and Mahopac High School.
