There are several small strip malls in Goldens Bridge, Cross River, and South Salem. For more shopping options, people usually go to Danbury, CT 25 minutes away. There are also downtown shopping and entertainment in downtown Katonah, Mount Kisco, and Ridgefield CT.

Lewisboro is around 50 miles North of Manhattan. To take the train to New York City, there is a Metro North station in Croton Falls. The train to Grand Central station takes approximately 70 minutes during non-peak hours.
Driving to other areas, you will mostly drive on the local roads, and then connect to Saw Mill Parkway and 684. Therefore many people prefer to live close to 684 for easier access.
