The Heathcote Manor is an enclave of 9 luxury single family homes on a private cul-de-sac in Heathcote. All of the homes feature an expansive floor plan ranging from 5200-5400 square feet, with a two car garage, lower level with a recreation room, media room, or home gym, and an elevator option. Sales price starts in the upper $1 million. Students are zoned for Scarsdale School District. 

Preserve at Ardsley is a community of 11 single family luxury homes built by Toll Brothers around 2016. The homes are set on private wooded home sites, with floor plans ranging from 3370 to 4170 square feet. Each home features a front entry, 2 car garage. The Preserve at Ardsley is located within the Ardsley School District. As of 2017, the starting sales price is $1.7 million.

Ardsley Chase is another community nearby that was built around 2013, also by Toll Brothers. It is a community of 24 single family luxury homes, ranging from 3300 to 4800 square feet, with each home receiving Energy Star Certifications. 

Brittany Close is a slightly older community, built around 2006. The development was a private enclave of 12 individually designed homes by award winning architect Carol Kurth. Each home is set around a picturesque walking trail and pond, amidst a landscaped garden. 

The Heathcote is a new luxury co-op building on Palmer Road in Heathcote. The distinguished building has 14 luxury residences inside the building. The building features 24 hour concierge, and the units have an expansive bright open floor plans with high ceilings, fireplaces, outdoor terraces, custom mullwork, gourmet kitchens, and luxurious baths. Each unit also comes with 2 indoor parking spaces and additional storage room. As of 2017, the new co-ops at The Heathcote starts at $1.4 million.

Living in Scarsdale NY

Scarsdale is an exclusive Westchester village located 25 miles North of midtown Manhattan. Scarsdale has long held the reputation of being tree lined and pristine, upscale, and competitive. Residents are attracted to Scarsdale for its excellent school district, easy commute to NYC, and its beautiful surroundings and recreation offerings.

Scarsdale has a robust, fashionable downtown that includes boutiques, art galleries, florists, etc. You will also find clothing stores like Lord and Taylor and the Gap. For groceries, there is a Shoprite, Trader Joe’s and DeCicco’s. Scarsdale is also just 10 minutes away from all the shopping and dining in White Plains.

There are ten neighborhood parks in Scarsdale, providing a municipal pool, tennis courts and paddle tennis courts, and sports fields for residents. There are plenty of golf courses nearby. For larger parks or hiking, you will find the Rockefeller State Park Preserve, Cranberry Lake Park, and many other attractions nearby.

Scarsdale NY Commute

There are two Metro North stations in Scarsdale, the Scarsdale and Hartsdale station. Commute time to Grand Central Station is under 40 minutes during rush hours. Some of the homes are also close to the Hudson Line stations and the New Haven Line.

Scarsdale has easy access to the Bronx River Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway. Driving distance to midtown Manhattan is around 25 miles, 3 miles to White Plains, and 13 miles to Greenwich CT.

Most of the students living in Scarsdale NY go to schools at the Scarsdale Union Free School District. Some students in the town are zoned for Edgemont School District, Ardsley School District, or New Rochelle School District.
