Residents can easily walk to the Four Corners Shopping Center, and other shopping centers and the Metro North station are only a little over a mile away. Some of the developments include:

• The Biltmore, a prewar coop building consisting mostly of studios and one bedroom units
• The Pelham Manor Gardens, a prewar coop building with 31 units, ranging from 1 bedroom 1 bath to 4 bedroom 3 bath units

Living in Pelham NY

Pelham offers the best of both worlds - a short 30 minute commute to New York City, with Metro North trains and public buses that provide easy transportation to New York City and other parts of Westchester. 

Pelham is very walkable and pedestrian friendly. There are plenty of restaurants, wine shop, ice cream shop and movie theater in the village.  The public schools are also within walking distance to many homes. Big box stores like BJs and Costco, and the huge Fairway supermarket is located just minutes from the condo building.

For those who enjoy the water, the Glen Island Park, 105-acre island park along the Long Island Sound with a beach is five minutes away. The town has no community pool, but there are two private clubs: the New York Athletic Club and the Pelham Country Club, both with swimming pools. The New York Athletic Club's summer facility, Travers Island, offers pools, rowing and yachting along the Long Island Sound shore.

Pelham NY Commute

Pelham is conveniently located just 30 minutes North of New York City. The Pelham Metro North train station is just one block from the community. For driving, I-95, Route 1 and the Hutchinson River Parkway are all very easily accessible from Pelham.

Pelham NY Schools

Students living at the Pelican Gardens condo community go to schools at the Pelham School District. That includes Pelham Middle School and Pelham Memorial High School. There are four elementary schools in the Pelham School District.
