The Edgemont is a co-op community in the Edgemont section of Scarsdale in Southern Westchester County, New York. The beautiful community was built in 1969, and is located at 370 and 372 Central Ave in Scarsdale.

The Edgemont Cooperative is located in Scarsdale, and residents are zoned for the excellent Edgemont School District, and receives municipal services from the Town of Greenburgh. The Edgemont is very conveniently located next to shops and dining along Central Ave. However, the development is tugged in behind woods, and is located next to the Greenburgh Nature Center. Residents can easily enjoy the quiet serentiy of the nature preserve, while living only 30 minutes from Manhattan.  

The Village of Scarsdale offers quaint shops and excellent dining. Residents are attracted to Scarsdale for its excellent school district, easy commute to NYC, and its beautiful surroundings and recreation offerings. For golf lovers, the Scarsdale Golf Club and the Sunnydale Country Club are located right next to the development. For more shopping, there are plenty of shops around and at the malls at White Plains and New Rochelle, just 10 minutes away.

The Edgemont is conveniently located within 10 minutes drive of the Hartsdale and Scarsdale Metro North train stations. The commute time to Grand Central Station is around 35 minutes during rush hours. There are also bus stops right in front of the complex.

Scarsdale has easy access to the Bronx River Parkway and the Hutchinson River Parkway. Driving distance to midtown Manhattan is around 25 miles, 3 miles to White Plains, and 15 miles to Greenwich CT.
